In order for us to understand more about how our site is used and in turn make sure that the site reflects your needs, we may send cookies to your PC. A cookie contains information that allows us to recognise that you have used the site before, but will not contain any other personal data. This function can be switched off within your browser without affecting your navigation around the site.
The only cookie Family for Every Child uses at present is when a user logs into the site. At no other time do we store any data using cookies. The cookie is opened upon a successful login attempt and stays open for 60mins from the last time you visited a page. If you walk away from your PC without logging out, that cookie will stay open for 60 minutes and anyone else could view/amend your personal details. If you stay at the PC, but are inactive within our site for over 60 minutes, then the cookie will timeout and the system will automatically close your login connection.
Third party sites
When someone visits www.wellbeingteams.org we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Mailing list provider
As part of the registration process, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our emails. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us.
We have installed SSL protection to ensure that your personal information is protected.
We recognise the importance of privacy to our supporters and visitors and intend to remain at the forefront of industry developments in this area. We will keep this policy under review and any changes made from time to time will be posted on this website.
In cases where we lose touch with you we may choose to work with external data matchers to locate your e-mail, phone number and address. We will only do this if you have donated to us before (either regularly or one-off) and we seek this data in order to keep you update with our work through e-communication, print and telemarketing campaigns. If at any point you would like us to cease communication with us we will update your communication preferences accordingly.
